The Yenching Academy of Peking University introduces its seventh cohort: 104 outstanding young scholars who will enroll in the interdisciplinary China Studies Master's program this September. The scholars hail from 35 countries and regions; 79 international students will come together with 25 Chinese students. The incoming scholars have attended 87 universities, the most represented including the University of Oxford, University College London, University of Cambridge, Stanford University, Harvard University, and Sciences Po Paris.
The Yenching Academy of Peking University was established in 2014 with the goal of pushing academic study of China beyond the boundaries of traditionally defined Humanities and Social Sciences disciplines through a specially designed, English-taught Master’s program. Students from its first six cohorts hail from a total of 79 different countries and regions.
